St. John’s Results for Mission: 1?

Mission: 1 is an opportunity to make real Jesus’ prayer for his disciples: “That they may all be one.” It is also an opportunity to live out our faith — in unity — by offering the worship that God most desires from us: loosening the bonds of injustice and sharing our bread with the hungry

 

 

A few of St. John's Sunday School kids are all smiles after the successful Mission 1 food drive by St. John’s UCC on Jefferson in Union. The church collected over 400 non-perishable food items for local food pantries. Additionally the church sent a team of adults to Wrigleyville in Chicago to serve breakfast to LGBT young adults on Saturday November 12^th. The drive Mission 1 drive was sponsored by the national United Church of Christ to help eliminate hunger in our time.
